The Miami Open Kids’ Day returns March 21
MIAMI – For all the youth who have ever wanted to play where the pros play – here’s their chance. Kids’ Day returns to The Miami Open on Tuesday, March 21. The purple court action begins at 9am.
Open to youth of all ages and skill sets, Kids’ Day is dedicated to exposing youth to the game of tennis and teaching the sport in a fun an engaging way.
Robert Gomez, USPTA Tennis Professional and Director of Tennis for the City of Coral Gables will spearhead the program. Taking over Grandstand, kids can participate in a variety of tennis drills and even have the chance to meet some of the world’s best tennis players.
Tickets for the annual event start at $12 for youth and $15 for adults. A group rate of $7 is also available for 20 or more and grant access to all day session matches. Tickets are on sale now, for more information go to www.miamiopen.com or call the Miami Open ticket office at 305-442-3367.
IMG Academy and KIND will run interactive activities throughout the day, with KIND Bar providing samples to those in attendance.
The 2017 Miami Open is scheduled for March 20 – April 2 and will once again be the hottest ticket in town. With ticket packages starting at just $136 and individual sessions starting at $20 the Miami Open will be the place-to-be.
