Coco Gauff and Jannik Sinner add another winning title to their belts by winning the WTA and ATP finals.
In Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on November 9, Gauff defeated Zheng Qinwen, crowning her the WTA Finals Champion.
During Gauff’s final match, she made an epic comeback claiming victory in a three-hour showdown, marking the longest title match in WTA final history. This win is the second biggest title for Gauff after winning the US Open in 2023.
The last American to win the WTA Finals was Serena Williams in 2014. Gauff is now the youngest to win at the age of 20.
A week later, on November 17, Sinner took home the victory in Turin, Italy as the ATP Finals winner. Sinner remains No. 1 as he defeated Taylor Fritz in the final round.
The final score of 6-4, 6-4 allowed Sinner make history, too, by becoming the first Italian to win the ATP Finals.
Sinner adds this title to his 2024 wins, which include the US Open and Australian Open.
