Catherine Stock is the most seasoned and versatile facilities manager in tennis. Currently in her 18th year as Vice President of Facilities for IMG Tennis, she oversees and manages the facilities for the Miami Open tennis event which is referred to by the media as the fifth Slam. Ms. Stock’s responsibilities include design and implementation of the site, food and beverage programming, vendor contracts and overseeing a facilities and operational staff that grows to thirty during the months of February and March. Ms. Stock managed the most recent upgrade in 2011-2012 to the Key Biscayne Tennis Center, home of the Miami Open.
Ms. Stock began her career in the tennis industry 23 years ago as a Financial Assistant for the Pilot Pen Tennis event in New Haven, Connecticut. Quickly becoming the Director of Operations for the event, Ms Stock began her dual role as Director of Operations for both the New Haven and Miami event in 1994. Promoted to Vice President of Facilities in 1997, throughout her years at IMG, her responsibilities have expanded to include other tennis events such as the Statoil Masters Championships (London), ATP World Finals (London), Bank of the West Classic (Palo Alto), Mubadala World Championships (Abu Dhabi) and the Advanta Championships (Philadelphia). In addition to these Tour events, Ms. Stock has been instrumental in the production of exhibition events such as the William Sisters Tour, Federer - Nadal Zurich, Sharapova in the Bahamas event. She also consults regularly for the China Open (Beijing).
Ms. Stock earned a Business Degree with a major in Accounting from Southern Connecticut State University. She enjoys the new cultures and lifestyles she finds on her frequent travel for work.
